At Affordable Building Solutions, our goal is not only to help design and build your home, but to make the process easy and affordable. We are also debt free builders making your purchase safe & secure.
The homes are built in our factory were all the required inpections are carried out to meet the local council requirements. The following certificates come standard with all our homes, structual frame certificate, electrical, plumbing, glazing, waterproofing, smoke alarm and meets the current six star
energy assessment.
The homes are built in our own factory using galvanized steel frames. This gives you a structure that will outlast many others and can be transported to remote regions.
All Homes are fitted with adjustable stumps, cyclone rated steel frames and finished in rendered exterior cladding*.
Taking into consideration the ongoing rise of material costs, we have endeavoured to keep the price of our homes affordable. We have achieved this by developing a very economical design that minimises material waste and by using our own roll formers we can cut steel to size. This gives us the advantage of running long sections which in turn, minimises joins and enhances the structural strength of the building. Apart from the above we are a family run business with low overheads and a keen attitude to provide quality homes at a significant saving when compared to other builders.
Our homes come fully painted,
with large kitchens.
We can build anything from 1 bedroom granny flats to 4 bedroom ensuite homes with wrap around verandahs. All homes are built using quality fixtures such as Caroma plumbing fittings and Westinghouse appliances in the kitchen.
Once you have chosen a floorplan etc. We go through the same process as onsite builders using BSA contracts protecting yourself from start date to finish.
There are six simple payment steps:
- Commencement of plan drafting, $1000.00
- Confirmation of final plans and BSA contract signed, 5% deposit
- Base stage 10%
- Frame inspected and passed by engineer 15% payment
- House delivered to site, 55% payment
- Council final inspection and dwelling approved, balance of contract sum.
